Get Started
  • A round table
  • 20 to 30 Solo plastic cups
  • Beer, wine, or any other drink of choice
  • 2 ping pong balls

Setting up the game is relatively easy. Arrange the cups in a circle on the table, with each cup ΒΌ filled with your drink of choice.

Place a fully-filled cup (known as the “King’s Cup”) in the center of the table, and give one ping pong ball and an empty cup to each player opposing each other. This is your starting point.

To start the “Stack Cup” drinkin game:

1. Start bouncing the ping pong balls.

Players A and B (opposing each other) should start bouncing their ping pong ball on the table, trying to get it into the cups in front of them.

2. Got it into a cup? Pass it on!

When a player successfully bounces their ball into a cup on their first try, they can pass the cup and ball to any other player except the other player who is bouncing their ball.

If you get the ball in on your second or more tries, you can only pass it to the person on your left.

3. Start stacking!

If two players play next to each other, and one gets the ball into a cup before the other person does, they can stack their cups “on top” of the losing player’s. The losing player then takes a drink from the table, chugs it, and tries to bounce their ball into a cup again.

4. Avoid the center cup at all costs!

As you keep stacking and shooting, the drinks in the circle will eventually be emptied until only the center cup is left. The last player (the loser) who gets their cup stacked has to drink the center cup, bottoms up!

“Stack Cup” Drinking Game Rules

The “Stack Cup” is meant to be played fast and furiously. That being said, there are a few rules that you should know before you start playing:

1. You can’t “blow” the ball into a cup. No cheating!

2. You can only shoot with one hand – no double-fisting allowed. For more of a challenge, only play with your non-dominant hand.

3. If someone accidentally bounces their ball into any of the drinks, they must drink the cup and refill it. This applies even if the drink is in their hand.

4. If a player’s ball goes off the table, they must drink and refill a cup. You can only shoot again once you have refilled your cup.

5. Feeling brave? Play with liquor instead of beer for a more challenging game!

Now that you know how to play and the rules of the “Stack Cup” drinking game, it’s time to gather your friends and put your speed to the test. Remember to drink responsibly and have fun! Cheers!🍻
